There is no doubt that Susie Stroud was a wonderful wife, mother and person. I know her son Bud and he has such warmth and concern for other people. That sort of character comes from a mother who showed love and care for her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Susie's whole family. We know she will be missed greatly.

Miss Susie made Morris Elementary school a very special place for all the kids she touched in her years there. My daughters, Betty and Ellen, thought the world of Miss Susie and were sad when she retired. She knew everyone even if they weren't in the classes she was in. She went out of her way for each and every student. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this very difficult time. Miss Susie has a wonderful spot in the girls memory. Thank you for sharing her with so many kids that needed her special touch. Sara Gillespie

Dear Eugene, Bud, Brandey & Kim, You are each in my thoughts now. It's hard to accept that our Susie is in another place. The fact that she loved each of you so much will be a comfort in the days to come, but I also know there's a huge hole in your hearts right now. You will be a source of strength to one another, and keeping Susie's memory alive for Kelsey and Collin will also bring you a sense of purpose and direction. Susie was loved by so many-and still is! I am sad but also feel so blessed to have had her for a friend. God Bless you!

I am so sorry to hear about Susie passing away. I have such warm memories of her from when I taught at Morris. I always remember her talking so much about her precious family. May Jesus wrap you in his warmth and love and may you feel peace knowing Susie is home with him.

Midge and family, I was saddened to hear of Susie leaving this earth. I know within my heart that she is with Betty Lou, and that Mom is most likely keeping them on their toes in Heaven. You will be in my prayers tonight and always. Penny
