Charlene is my great-aunt, and she was a great lady. My mother, Mary Hodge, was especially fond of her. Mother always commented on how good Aunt Charlene's mind was, compared to most people her age. They continued to write nice letters to each other, almost to the end. Not many people take the time to do that these days, so it always made my Mom happy to get Aunt Charlene's letters. May Aunt Charlene rest in peace. God bless everyone.
